rapidity beys packaged in hasbro boxes!?

RAPIDITY BEYS PACKAGED IN HASBRO METAL FUSION BOXES! *PLEASE BEWARE!*

Most people on Youtube slander me for claiming that Hasbro (the company or the Beys they produce) are considered REAL and not FAKE. The company but not the Beys! Now, call me dumb, stupid, idiotic, mouse brained, whatever..... but the reason why I wrote this little guide is to fairly warn you guys that Rapidity (the slacking brand created by Hong Yi) is stuffing thier cheaply created Metal Fusion Beys into AUTHENTIC Hasbro Metal Fusion boxes!

The ones above in the picture were bought for 24 dollars each (Dual pack was 30) from german seller cmfashion2014 on ebay in summer 2015. While I posted the unboxing video on Youtube, a tornado of hate comments swirled right at me. I thought of the Youtube community to be friendly or at least charsmatic to the idea of Rapidity Beys packaged into Hasbro Metal Fusion boxes, but I guess they would never believe me, no matter how many times I persist. Without further ado, I have taken pictures of proof right infront of your eyes that these are not authentic Hasbro!

Please don't be fooled by it's artwork or lettering on the package!

overview

The picture below despicts Authentic Takara Tomy/Hasbro beys to the left while the Rapidity Beys are placed to the right.

Now let's break it down part by part. I'll fully go through every detail to elaborate and make you understand what is the sheer difference between the two of them. Remember! I'm NOT calling Hasbro fake, it's just Rapidity stuffing the knockoff beys into authentic Hasbro packaging!

facebolts

The image below clearly tells us the difference. Normal facebolts that have TWO screw ridges are the official sign that it is Takara Tomy or Hasbro authentic. If you find the facebolt with THREE screw ridges, whelp, we have a problem.

The greatest advantage to fake 3 ridged facebolts are using them in illegal customization such as two layered metal wheels. The complete disadvatage can wallow out your broken results such as bits of plastic in your palms. We all know that Fake Beys are very fragile and can sometimes tend to break even without use in battle.

energy rings/

clear wheels

Clear wheels can be a hassle to use even if they are not made with the right plastic.

They can easily break if you apply too much pressure on the facebolt, resulting the thin lined launcher holes (where you lock the bey onto your launcher) to instantly shatter. Out of my 4 Rapidity wheels, Pegasus was not the sturdiest to rely on. I used it constantly for several mods along with rough play (because I didn't want my Takara Pegasus wheel to suffer the same fate) and I noticed major plastic chippings from the part itself.

It is still usable, but it's life won't outlast Takara's Pegasus.

A Major chip of the Blue Ice. (Pegasus)
Used Aquario for rough play but it's still good to use. No chippings shown.
The Rapidity Eagle wheel suffered many paint chips and plastic chippings from rough play. The underside however is still intact and made from a strange polyster finish. It's not completely smooth as it should be.
Strange as it seems the underside of the eagle heads that mold from the sides of the clear wheel, the Rapidity Eagle beak is shaped round to an extent it seems impossible that eagles have beaks that huge. I could almost say the same thing for molded dimples too. More visible than Takara's.
Green and White looks like to be my faviourite color combo nonethless there is no difference between the two. I had several plastic chippings from the astronomer's pendulum ruler molded into both Libra wheels, the edges of the rulers sufficed some minor damage from casual battles. Again, the dimples on the underside of the Rapidity Libra looks to be deeper than my AUTHENTIC HASBRO Flame Libra I got from 2010.

fusion wheels /

metal wheels

This section of the guide should give you a clear insight between authentic Metal Wheels and fake Metal Wheels.

Normally when you purchase authentic Takara Tomy or Hasbro Beys, the metal wheels are supposed to glisten with duralumin alloy. Meaning, there is a shine effect present around the wheel if placed under standard room light or under the sun. Once they are used in battles or are left lying around in beylockers or in standard room tempreature, the wheels naturally oxidize to a dark stormy gray. The way to revert back to it's shine is a simple vinegar trick. But most fake metal wheels come additionally painted or sprayed in with cheap silver coating that can sometimes easily chip off or stay the same and NOT oxidize at all.

Below are some comparisons between the two.

Instead I get two of these horribly painted wheels that can look to be as if they can disintergrate any moment. *POOF* out if my hands
Based on the angle perspective, the Rapidity Storm Wheel is molded wayyy thicker than the normal Storm wheel. The Dimples are rather shaped irregular while the dimples on the real Storm Wheel are faded on. Either way, the straight on differences should be tolerated clearly.
As far as it should be inspected, numbers are not normally present anywhere on Fusion Wheels or Metal Wheels except for the vertical bars that support the Facebolt screw hole. Rapidity either tried making thier own number code on the wheel but failed to so. A1 and B4 are the authentic number markings on the wheels of any Metal Fight Bey. There are no number codes on the Rapidity wheels except for that mis guided mold of a 'backwards 4' on that wheel.
The Earth wheels somehow look identical except for some major flaws. The Eagle beaks on the sides of the Rapidity Earth wheel is sharpened to the point where it can easily disintergrate! The Oval shaped holes erect to the Karabiner holes are not completely regular. Save for the holes on the top bar of the wheel.
The Right picture says it all! Drop those scaffolding tools! It's time to mold those straight on! Clear as it seems, the edge rims of the Rapidity Dark Fusion Wheel is molded much thicker than the real deal! Strange as it seems, a normal Dark Wheel is supposed to have a light TING! sound, while the Rapidity Dark wheel is beyond convulsion. It's like having soft sandpaper mixed with steel elements. That's what happens when you spin a Rapidity Dark wheel.

spin tracks

As far as I've owned these Beys, only 1 out the 4 tracks broke on me big time. Mainly the 100 track where I used it on an MFB / Burst combination. Spin tracks can be a hassle whenever you have to use them in battle or even mod them into something bizzare. Weird as it sounds, some tracks like the Rapidity 105 or 100 require tips to be clicked TWICE.

White dots? How did that happen? It was like that when I unboxed it. Deal with it....
As you can tell, the 100 track broke on me (Left tab snapped off)
Must look 3D printed. Also, the left tab of the Rapidity 145 seems tiny bit tilted. Suprised it didn't break on me yet.
The ED145's may resemble the identical color, well close enough. Both function the same way as they should do except spin performance. When spun individually like a fidget spinner, the Takara ED145's spin is greater by 1.5 seconds than Rapidity's spin (0.5) This shows how stability effects both tracks. Plus, if the wings are removed, there is a clear insight that Takara ED145 is rather shaped clean while the Rapidity ED145 shows out white chippings to the molded gap that holds the wings together.

performance tips

Performance Tips major out some flunked up flaws when performed around the stadium. They can sometimes tip off while collided against another bey, easily wear out, and slip off if not placed on properly.

I've had several incidents with this before while unboxing and doing battle videos.

People, I'm not kidding. You may think both are RUBBER FLATS but guess again. The Rapidity one is completely made of PLASTIC! This can go same for a Rapidity Galaxy Pegasus where the R2F is Plastic Red or Blue. Same thing goes for Big Bang Pegasus where the F:D's Plastic is Blue instead of Rubber Red like TT. Worst of all, it is slightly tilted, creating an uneven circumnavigation around the stadium. It slightly does not handle against the Tornado Slope Ridge very well and sometimes suicides into a stadium out if launched the wrong way. Strange as it seems, it works like a Hole Flat or Wide Flat tip. Once launched into the stadium, it creates this rickety sound until it calms down into a silent circle. That's the ultimate disadvantage to a PLASTIC Rubber Flat. The good thing is, you will never have to deal with wear downs on Rubber ever again. :)
Falco, that HF/ S looks normal to me.... Guess again! This tip does NOT allow me to SWITCH modes! From the very first day I got Storm Aquario, I was clearly disappointed to see Aquario spinning in the middle as if Hikaru (or Brisk Aquario) is grand spotlight. Also, it creates an unusual rickety sound when spun in the stadium.
Thick or Thin, it doesn't matter!- Yes, it slightly matters. The WD to your left is the Takara Tomy Eagle while the WD to the right is Rapidity. They look extremely identical except for the unproportional rim size. Also, when clicked into a Spin track, the Rapidity WD acts like a retracting spring when twisted to the right, it will rotate back to it's position.
Same as the WD, here we go with the SD from Dark Bull (Left) and Dark Libra (Right)
There are some clear inputs of drastic size.

ripcord launchers

When using Rapidity launchers, many people complain about the prongs constantly breaking apart and the rotary gears jamming with the cords. To me, I haven't had a single problem with these launchers except for one minor cut to one of the ripcords. A very long one at that....

Pegasus buddies in different colors! Not! The front may seem harmless enough. The Back should tell us secrets.
Arguments are already invalid. Please try again. Infact, here is the clear proof that the ripcord launchers are fake too. Not only Pegasus, but it's the same with Aquario, Eagle, and Libra....
A closer look at the fonts. Notice how they are not identically in the same size.
Probably this disturbed me the most. The top ripcords are the standard ripcords I got from the Metal Wing Smash pack while the lower Ripcords are from Pegasus and Aquario. Let's get this straight. How in the world would Hasbro equip Takara Tomy's product in thier own Boxes? Whelp, that's Rapidity for you.
I know this would be very difficult to read but I tried my best taking them under standard room light. The left tool is Hasbro while the Right tool which is Rapidity does NOT come with copyrights!

code cards

I LOVE to collect Hasbro's Metal Fusion code cards. Whenever I used to buy Metal Fusion Beys, I always went for the code cards. I dunno why but the characters seemed so likely to collect, I just wanted every one of them. Today these things are a rarity and the only way to get them is though....... these knockoffs.

Notice how the white font to "STORM AQUARIO" is different in size and spacing. The Japanese Kanji characters are not gray.
I feel completely baffled at the codes right now. Normally, the backing is supposed to be Red for an Attack type Bey, Blue for Balance, Yellow, for Defense, and Green for Stamina. What in the world does WHITE stand for? This shows how the code card is fake along with the code. No dashes present.
You're now asking yourself, where's the Eagle and Libra code card? To make matters simple, they do have the Spiral background but the trademark after the Bey's name is absent. For the ones pictured here above, the gray Spiral background that can be found in every authentic Metal Fusion code card, is completely white and absent from Pegasus and Aquario. Also there is a Copyright typo where Metal Fusion in North America was released Spring 2010, not 2009.

stickers

Stickers played an important role in Beyblade whether you wanted it to look cool or use the stickers for other purposes. Here is some clear proof on why the stickers are not authentic.

Colors tell it all....

Pop out stickers? Yellow backing? Un proportional hexagon shaped printing borders?
Same thing goes for these two.....
And these two..........

instructions

I almost say this in every unboxing video but instructions are not really important unless they are importantly referred to in emergency times. Bizzare as it seemed, the instructions for some of the Metal Fusion Beys did not make any sense to me. Plus, a different background is added on the Rapidity ones as well.

You'll see what I mean.

This is how an authentic Metal Fusion instruction pamphlet should look like. This is Counter Leone with different foreign languages because I got this bey from Europe.
That's a very exotic Pegasus background but I don't think they appear in North American, European, and Australian Metal Fusion instructions......
Same thing goes for Aquario.....
The same does not happen with Eagle and Libra. They are based on the European instructions although I can't conclude if there any differences in the real deal and the fakes. Something that bizzared my mind was the Metal Fusion Beylocker instructions
"PLAYERS SIT behind the clear WINDOWS!?" C'mon people. We don't have the ability to fit ourselves in that tiny colorful suitcase. lol.

final conclusions

I hope this guide made it crystal clear to you that it is virtually and physically IMPOSSIBLE to get authentic Hasbro Metal Fusion beys these days. If you are the lottery master or just a rich fortune, then lucky you! You have found AUTHENTIC Hasbro Metal Fusion beys priced OVER 70 Dollars! Other than that, these Rapidity ones that are packaged into Hasbro boxes, they usually go for 20 bucks each from China. The Dual packs can cost up to 40 but let's leave that for now. The picture below tells us the prices I screenshot from Ebay.

Another important thing to note is not only the prices, but also with the Package color and trademarks on the code cards.
Here we have the AUTHENTIC Hasbro Metal Fusion boxes that are sold for over 70 dollars. They both come from the US and offer extra costly shipping. This is the CORRECT Blue color that signifies that this is Hasbro authentic. You won't believe what Rapidity uses....
Black backgrounds with yellow speedlines absent from the gray middle? I just gave out clues between the different colored Metal Fusion packages. Now you know the difference. :)
If you still refuse to believe me that these are not fake and they are Hasbro real, then go ahead, it's your choice, not mine. I just want to make you people understand that Rapidity Beys packaged in Hasbro is a complete fraud and we should soon start a petition about this. I completely don't mind if packages directly say "TOP SET RAPIDITY" or "TORNADO CLASH SPEED TOP" or even Burst's fakes "STORM GYRO DAZZLE DETONATION"

But if you or I see things like this then there should be done something about this. China loves to copy everything, not only Beyblades. I guess they wear the lawsuits since it is a huge crime on intellectual property and they did not take permission from the liscenced companies.

If you want AUTHENTIC Hasbro Metal Fusion Beys, try some USED Beyblade lots that offer Hasbro Beys bought from 2010. They can be pricey (depending from the size of the lot) but definetly worth it if you're looking for some quality. Either than that, if you're the Bill Gates of today, you can also purchase the real deals from the US for only over 70 bucks! Please remember that 20 dollar knock offs packaged in liscensed box is NOT worth it! I'm still keeping mine until I get the real ones from my good friend Turbo Libra.
